Sweet whispers

Sweet whispers

My work begins with memories of people, places and everyday life. Growing up in southern Tamil Nadu, I am inspired by the people around me, especially women, their gestures, expressions, relationships and the traditions that shape their lives. I bring these observations and memories into my paintings, reimagining familiar moments through my own visual language. My work explores memory, identity, belonging and the changes that happen around us while staying connected to the traditions and everyday life I know. I leave space for the viewer to pause, look and connect with their own memories and experiences.
